Yuri Becker (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Alarde3 (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
We built the App to work as a local alarm clock on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share personal information.
Information We Process
The App stores the following information locally on your device to provide alarm functionality:
- Alarm settings: hour, minute, selected days of the week, enabled state, and snooze duration.
- Dismiss phrase: a phrase you create to stop an alarm. For your privacy, the App stores only a salted hash (SHA-256) of this phrase; the original phrase is not stored in plain text.
- Ringtone selection: the content URI of the ringtone you choose (for example, a system alarm sound or a file on your device).
- Migration state: a flag used once when upgrading from an older App version to a newer local database.
We do not have access to this information, and it is not sent to us or to any third party.
How We Use Information
The information listed above is used only to:
- Schedule and trigger alarms at the times you set.
- Play the ringtone and vibration you selected.
- Verify your dismiss phrase when you want to stop an alarm.
- Restore alarms after your device restarts or the App is updated.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any user information with third parties. The App does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or cloud-sync SDKs. The App does not request the INTERNET permission.
Data Storage and Security
All data is stored locally on your device using Android’s Room database and SharedPreferences. Your dismiss phrase is protected with a per-alarm random salt and SHA-256 hashing.
Because the App operates entirely on your device, the security of your data also depends on the security settings of your device (such as screen lock, device encryption, and Google account backup settings).
Permissions
The App requests only the permissions needed for an alarm clock:
POST_NOTIFICATIONS— to show alarm notifications.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM— to wake the device at the exact alarm time.USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT— to display the alarm screen from the lock screen.VIBRATE— to vibrate when an alarm rings.WAKE_LOCK— to keep the device awake while an alarm is ringing.FOREGROUND_SERVICEandFOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE— to play alarm audio reliably.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED— to reschedule alarms after the device restarts.
The App does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, location, calendar, phone, SMS, files, or sensors.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after the changes means you accept the updated policy.
